Clinical Guidelines

  • PPA develops and promotes standard treatment guidelines for various pediatric sub-specialties including neonatology, infectious diseases, cardiology, nephrology, and more—helping doctors deliver evidence-based care across Pakistan.

Research & Publications

  • Through its quarterly Pakistan Pediatric Journal, PPA publishes original research, case studies, and clinical reviews to foster a culture of scientific inquiry and continuous learning among pediatricians.

Continuing Medical Education

  • PPA regularly organizes workshops, hands-on training, and online webinars to ensure that pediatric healthcare professionals stay updated with the latest clinical knowledge and global best practices

Child Rights

  • PPA runs awareness and intervention campaigns focused on preventing child abuse, neglect, and exploitation—advocating for children's safety, dignity, and psychological well-being.

Vaccination & Immunization

  • The association actively supports the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in Pakistan by raising public awareness about routine childhood vaccinations and advocating for full immunization coverage.

Conferences

  • PPA holds biennial pediatric conferences and other scientific meetings that bring together national and international experts to share research, clinical experiences, and policy discussions.

COVID-19 Pediatric Response

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, PPA provided pediatric-specific treatment guidelines, promoted child vaccination, and addressed the impact of the pandemic on children’s mental health.
